Childhood Friends Brody and Matt, and roadside punk Sean Bones, encounter a number of obstacles on their journey to the legendary Clawzfest in Texas. In order to overcome the forces of evil trying to thwart them, the trio harnesses the power of AIR GUITAR to triumph in the name of metal

------------
This was a big learning experience for me. I spent far longer trying to resolve technical issues while making it than I had hoped and it's not up to par with what I had hoped. However, I am glad the project is over and know never to attempt this again! lol Consider this a sketch animation, not a finished piece.

Anyway, I was reluctant to submit it since I am so dissatisfied with it. Made with a combination of Animate Pro, Adobe AfterEffects, iMovie, SoundBooth, etc.

Music is royalty free and I've paid for it, as well as the sound effects were either taken from my school sound library or from this great place: Freesound

------------below is just me being self critical. feel free to skip------------
Please try to shy away from criticism; I know this is quite very amateur and I've already endured the criticism of my classmates/teacher! I have little animation experience as it is lol, getting this done was a feat in itself for me. There's timing issues, especially around the end, and some of the dolls got garbled up with pixellation which annoys me and I'm trying to resolve later I also found out after the crit day that I only had to do a resolved animatic. *falls over*

alright enough rambling. I'm cleary sick and tired of this project and really just need a break from it and its characters. Enjoy anyway!

@02:07HELL YES!!! :headbang:

gnarly air-guitar powers of AWESOME!! :D

skillfully done. simple, but effective. i esp like the chars expressoins, and the 'thinking' scene. :) the radio channel-select for credits is very slick, i wish you'd time them a little longer tho.

You know what else is beastly?

Hawtson. Cause he's a mouse. Are mice beasts? Or is that reserved for things like elk and bear and lions? rofl

Mice are not beasts, they're too waif and dainty.
But Hawtson is a beast. For he is 100% man. hahahaha

@02:073 weeks...ish 2 weeks of development/storyboarding/character design/, then about a week and a half to execute this version of it. Which included creating all of the moving elements (backgrounds, props, character pieces. a lot more work than it sounds! lol)

@02:07That's ridiculous, I've been working on like a 3 minute animation for over 2 months, and I'm only using one sound file.

I applaud you
